Our Services
Neurodiversity Psychosocial & Eating Behaviour Support
Neurodiversity-affirming care that recognises how neurodivergence uniquely influences relationships with food, appetite, and body awareness - honouring sensory sensitivities, routines, and emotional needs around eating.
Eating Disorder Treatment
Compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating. We offer individualised support within evidence-based care models that supports medical stabilisation, nourished eating, and long-term recovery.
Medical Nutrition Therapy for Mental Health & Mood Support
A holistic approach to mental health includes an understanding of the profound impact of nutrition on both the mind and body - what we eat plays an important role in our overall wellbeing.
Eating Disorders
Eating disorders can be complex and are often misunderstood, especially with the stereotypes portrayed in the media. Understanding the different types and their characteristics can increase awareness, support early recognition and treatment, and foster empathy for those affected, while helping to reduce stigma.
Anorexia Nervosa
Anorexia Nervosa involves restricted eating patterns leading to an individual's inability to maintain a weight considered normal and healthy. Individuals with Anorexia Nervosa hold a strong fear of gaining weight or becoming overweight, regardless of their current weight and physical appearance.
Binge Eating Disorder
Binge Eating Disorder is marked by consuming large amounts of food within short periods, without engaging in compensatory behaviours. Those dealing with binge eating often feel helpless during these episodes.
Other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED)
A person with Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorders (OSFED) may present with many of the symptoms of other eating disorders, such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa or Binge Eating Disorder, but will not meet the full criteria for diagnosis of these disorders.
Bulimia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa is characterised by repeated episodes of binge eating, followed by compensatory behaviours, such as purging or excessive exercise. Individuals with Bulimia Nervosa often place excessive emphasis on their body shape or weight.
Disordered Eating
Disordered eating entails disturbed and unhealthy eating patterns, including restrictive dieting, compulsive eating, or skipping meals. These behaviours, particularly dieting, are common indicators of eating disorder development.
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
People with ARFID usually do not have weight and body image concerns that are often associated with other eating disorders like Anorexia Nervosa, but it is also possible for people to have several eating disorder diagnoses and, therefore, complex, differing symptoms and concerns.
